le commencement

So I've joined the world of bloggers at last. I've been intending to for awhile now, but the main reason I wanted to sign up is because I'll be going to study in France for a term come January. Blogging will be my way of recording details of my trip without sending those beloved mass emails with huge photo attachments to everybody. There probably won't be much posted here between now and December, so don't expect there to be anything besides this post until then!
